The @vermont10miler was amazing! I’m so grateful I got to go with my beautiful wife, Erin, and run it with my friends Cat and Barry!
This was the hardest run I’ve ever done. It was more difficult than the Newport Marathon. I did a fair amount of hill training and was not prepared for the 4 miles of uphill to start this race. I usually have some energy in the reserves to push the last mile but I was completely spent at the end of this run.
Now I know what I’ll be facing next year and can train appropriately. My goal will be to break 1:30. That being said, I’m extremely proud of my 1:32:38!
